Where the General Data Protection Regulation, the UK GDPR, or similar privacy laws apply, we process personal data under one or more appropriate legal bases.

Where we rely on consent, for example for optional cookies or optional communications, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.

05

Birth data and report generation

YOUR-VERITAS uses the birth data and other information you submit to generate reflective digital reports.

Birth data may include exact date, time, and place of birth.

Because this information may be personal and private, you should only submit information that you are comfortable providing for the purpose of generating a report.

YOUR-VERITAS reports are intended for personal insight, self-reflection, informational, and entertainment purposes.

They are not medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, employment, investment, or other professional advice.

06

Information about other people

If you submit information about another person, including birth data for a relationship, compatibility, family, or similar report, you confirm that you have that person's permission or another lawful basis to provide their information to YOUR-VERITAS for this purpose.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit this information.

YOUR-VERITAS processes this information only as reasonably necessary to generate and deliver the requested report, provide support relating to the report, maintain service security, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

If another person contacts us regarding information submitted about them, we will review the request in accordance with applicable privacy law and the information reasonably available to us.

07

Report links and PDF delivery

Generated reports may be accessible through a private report link.

These links are intended to be private and are not intended to be publicly indexed.

However, a private report link may be accessible to anyone who obtains the link unless additional access controls apply.

You should therefore treat your report link as confidential and avoid sharing it with anyone you do not want to access your report.

Where applicable, YOUR-VERITAS may also send your report or report access information by email, including as a PDF attachment.

Email delivery depends on third-party email infrastructure and your own email provider. You are responsible for maintaining the security of and access to your email account.

08

Report data storage and retention

We store report data for as long as reasonably necessary to generate and deliver your report, provide access to it, provide customer support, investigate technical issues, maintain service reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Unless a specific retention period is stated separately, report data may be retained for as long as necessary for these purposes.

You may request deletion of your report data.

Where legally permitted, we will delete or anonymize report data that is no longer required.

However, certain information may need to be retained even after a deletion request where retention is necessary for: - tax obligations; - accounting or bookkeeping requirements; - transaction records; - fraud prevention; - security; - dispute resolution; - the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims; - compliance with other applicable legal obligations.

Payment, billing, invoice, tax, and accounting records may therefore be retained independently of your report data for the period required by applicable law.

09

Payment data

Payments for YOUR-VERITAS services are processed through Stripe.

When you use Stripe Checkout, Stripe processes payment and transaction information necessary to complete the transaction.

Depending on the payment and the information you provide, Stripe may process information such as: - payment-card or other payment-method information; - your name; - email address; - billing address; - country; - company or legal business name; - Tax ID or VAT ID, where supplied; - transaction amount and currency; - transaction identifiers; - fraud-prevention and security information; - other information necessary to process the transaction.

YOUR-VERITAS does not receive or store your full payment card number, CVC, card expiry date, or raw payment credentials.

Depending on the particular Stripe service and processing activity, Stripe may process personal data as a service provider or data processor and may also process certain information as an independent controller in accordance with Stripe's own legal obligations and privacy documentation.

You can learn more about Stripe's processing of personal data in Stripe's Privacy Policy.

10

Service providers and processors

We use third-party service providers to operate YOUR-VERITAS.

These may include providers for: - hosting and infrastructure; - database storage; - payment processing; - email delivery; - PDF generation; - automated report generation; - security and fraud prevention; - analytics and technical monitoring; - geocoding or timezone resolution; - customer support; - professional accounting, tax, legal, or technical services where applicable.

Some service providers process personal data on behalf of YOUR-VERITAS and act as processors or service providers.

Other third parties may act as independent controllers for specific processing activities where required by the nature of their service or by applicable law.

We provide service providers only with the information reasonably necessary for them to perform the relevant service.

Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate contractual, organizational, and legal safeguards, including data processing agreements or equivalent protections.

11

Technical and analytics data

We collect limited technical and analytics data to operate, secure, debug, and improve YOUR-VERITAS.

This may include: - approximate location derived from an IP address, such as country, region, or city; - a hashed representation of an IP address where implemented; - browser and device information; - user agent; - referrer information; - UTM parameters; - timestamps; - report type; - selected locale; - delivery status; - technical error events; - similar operational information.

This data may be linked to a report through an internal report identifier so that we can understand whether a report was generated, delivered, failed, or required technical support.

Technical and analytics data is used for reliability, security, fraud prevention, service improvement, support, debugging, and operational reporting.

It is not used by YOUR-VERITAS to build advertising profiles.

12

Free report access verification and abuse prevention

For the Animals Within free report, we require an email address to send the report access link and help prevent misuse of the free service.

When you request a free report, we may derive and store a salted cryptographic hash of your normalized email address in an internal access log.

This hash is used to help verify that the same email address is not used to generate more free reports than permitted.

Your raw email address may be stored in the report record for delivery, verification, support, and communication relating to the report.

We may also derive and store a salted cryptographic hash of your IP address.

The raw IP address is not stored in the abuse-prevention hash log.

The IP hash may be used to apply technical rate limits designed to prevent automated, bulk, or abusive use of the free-report service.

These controls are security and abuse-prevention measures and are not used to track individuals for advertising purposes.

When your report is generated, we may send a verification or access link to the email address you provided.

Where a verification link is used, it may expire after a limited period.

For paid reports, we may record your explicit request for or consent to the immediate supply of digital content before redirecting you to payment.

This record may include a timestamp, report type, version of the consent text shown, and associated order or session identifier.

It may be retained to document your request for immediate performance and, where applicable, your acknowledgment concerning statutory withdrawal rights for digital content.

13

Cookies and similar technologies

YOUR-VERITAS uses a minimal set of cookies or similar technologies where necessary to operate the service, maintain security, process payments, remember essential preferences, or prevent abuse.

We do not use cookies or similar technologies for cross-site behavioral advertising.

If YOUR-VERITAS later introduces optional analytics, marketing, remarketing, or advertising cookies, the Privacy Policy and any required consent mechanism will be updated before those technologies are enabled.

14

International data transfers

YOUR-VERITAS is available internationally and uses service providers that may operate in different countries.

Your personal data may therefore be processed or stored outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland.

Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer of personal data, we use appropriate legal mechanisms.

Depending on the circumstances, these may include: - adequacy decisions; - standard contractual clauses; - data processing agreements; - other recognized contractual or legal safeguards.

15

International availability of the service

YOUR-VERITAS may be accessed by users in different countries.

The availability of a report in a particular language does not mean that the service is limited to countries where that language is officially spoken.

A user may choose an English, Polish, German, Dutch, French, Spanish, or Italian report regardless of where they live.

Depending on your location, additional privacy rights or local legal requirements may apply.

16

Automated report generation

YOUR-VERITAS reports are generated using automated processing of the information you provide.

The reports are reflective and interpretive in nature and are intended for personal insight, informational, and entertainment purposes.

YOUR-VERITAS does not use automated report generation to make decisions that produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you.

We do not use report generation to make decisions about: - employment; - credit; - insurance; - healthcare; - legal status; - eligibility for public or private services; - similar high-impact matters.

17

Your rights

These rights are subject to applicable legal limitations.

In particular, a deletion request does not require YOUR-VERITAS to delete information that we are legally required or otherwise permitted to retain, including certain accounting, tax, transaction, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute-resolution records.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and related laws, including rights to know, access, correct, or request deletion of certain personal information and rights relating to sale or sharing where applicable.
